During the period of these records, the position was held by Alanson T. Briggs, who became the Agent for Carnegie Sites. Records of the Clerk constitute one series, Cathedral Library Correspondence, 1904-1905, which deals with the consolidation of the Cathedral Library with the New York Public Library.
